"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us."
Romans 8:18
The Bible never minimizes the sufferings or difficulties that believers will face in this life. It gives us encouragement by magnifying the rewards that accompany our faith in the Living God. Jesus himself endured terrible pain and agony, keeping His focus on the glory that awaited Him when He returned to be with God.
Life today is very difficult for many people throughout the world. As God's children we know that we are only temporary visitors here as we live out our earthly lives. But remember our eternal destiny, and that it is written, "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined the things that God has prepared for those who love him".
